Buns with Pork and Cranberry Sauce

Prepare buns with cranberry sauce and fried pork for breakfast and they will surely please your household, even those who are categorically against breakfast.

Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • White bread crumbs – 3 cups
  • Mustard sauce with horseradish – 1/3 cup
  • Fresh thyme (finely chopped) – 2 teaspoon.
  • Pork fillet (cut in half) – 1500 g
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cranberry sauce with whole berries – 1 glass
  • Buns – 24 pcs.

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Cover a large baking sheet with foil.
  2. Pulse the bread crumbs in a food processor until fine. Transfer the crumbs to a clean, dry baking sheet.
  3. Combine the mustard and thyme in a large bowl and stir. Sprinkle the pork fillet with salt and pepper, dip in the mustard mixture on all sides, and then roll in crumbs. Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with foil and place in a preheated oven. Bake for about 35 minutes until the meat thermo reads 80 degrees. Remove the fried meat from the oven and leave at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Brush all halves of the buns with cranberry sauce. Cut the fillet into thin slices and put 1-2 slices on one half of the bun. Cover with the other half and fasten the buns with skewers.
