- 1 small butternut squash (se)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Garlic powder
- paprika powder
- herbs, e.g. basil

- Peel the pumpkin and cut it lengthways. Hollow out the core with a spoon. Cut the pumpkin into long strips, which can be halved again if desired, so that French fries are made.
- Place the cut strips in a bowl, mix with the oil and the spices so that each strip gets something off.
- Bake in the oven at approx. 200 ° C for about 40 - 50 minutes until the fries are crispy.
