There is an offer to cook a very appetizing and hearty dish – cabbage casserole with minced meat. The result will appeal to all lovers of cabbage dishes because the casserole is so tender and juicy that this recipe will be repeated in the kitchen more than once. It is worth taking note of.
Peel the garlic. Chop the garlic and 80 g of onion (about half an onion) into small cubes.
Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan, put the onion, and fry it for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Then add minced meat to the pan.
Fry the minced meat with onions for 5 minutes, breaking the minced meat pieces with a spatula. Add tomato sauce or ketchup, salt, and ground pepper to the minced meat. Stir the contents of the pan and simmer for a few minutes.
Cut the remaining onion into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a medium grater. Finely chop the cabbage on a special grater.
Heat vegetable oil in another pan, put onions and carrots, fry for several minutes. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Add cabbage to a pan with fried onions and carrots. Stir and simmer for 12-15 minutes over low heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Rinse the parsley, dry, and chop finely. Lightly grease the ovenproof dish, put half of the cabbage, and spread evenly over the bottom of the dish.
Divide the sour cream and parsley into three parts. Brush the cabbage with one part sour cream and sprinkle with one part greens. Put all the minced meat on top of the cabbage. Grease the minced meat with sour cream and sprinkle with parsley (second third).
Put the remaining cabbage on top of the minced meat. Grease the cabbage with the remaining sour cream, sprinkle with cheese and herbs, and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cabbage casserole with minced meat is ready. You can serve the casserole to the table as an independent dish. Any side dish will also be successful here: vegetables, potatoes, cereals, or pasta.
