Cake “Red Velvet” Original

Ingredients

  • Flour – 340 Grams
  • Sugar – 300 Grams
  • Cocoa – 1 Art. the spoon
  • Salt – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Soda – 1 Teaspoon
  • Baking powder – 2 Teaspoons
  • Eggs – 3 Pieces
  • Vegetable oil – 300 Milliliters
  • Kefir – 300 Milliliters
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon (+ 2 teaspoons for cream)
  • Red Gel Food Color – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cream cheese – 260 grams (for cream)
  • Butter – 250 grams (for cream)
  • Powdered sugar – 150 Grams (for cream)
  • Milk – 1 tablespoon. spoon (for cream)

Directions

  1. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla extract until white. Stir in food coloring (following the instructions on the package). Mix kefir with soda, after 5 minutes pour in vegetable oil and mix everything thoroughly. Mix dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and kefir to the dough in several steps (one at a time). Stir constantly.
  2. The dough should turn out burgundy. Take two baking dishes and line them with parchment. Divide the dough evenly into the molds. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven, temperature 170 degrees.
  3. Beat the soft butter until white, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add vanilla extract, cream cheese and milk. Mix thoroughly with a silicone spatula.
  5. Judge the baked cakes and carefully cut off the top, giving them a beautiful shape.
  6. Spread the cream on the cakes and shape into a cake. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
