Ingredients

  • 550 g white beans from the can, drained
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the beans and put them in a saucepan with the cream. Bring to the boil briefly over medium heat and stir occasionally. Then pull the pot off the fire and let it cool down briefly.
  2. Halve the lemon and squeeze out.
  3. Now add 1 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil and lemon juice to the beans and puree everything thoroughly until it becomes smooth.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper and ideally serve lukewarm as an accompaniment to grilled or roasted meat, fish or vegetables.
