Cauliflower and Rice Casserole with Meatballs

If you are tired of banal dishes and want to pamper your loved ones with an original dish made from simple ingredients, then try this recipe. Rice, cauliflower, and meatballs in a creamy sauce, we bake everything in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 150 gr. rice groats
  • 250 gr. cauliflower)
  • 300 gr. minced meat (pork)
  • 250 ml. cream
  • 100 g cheese (creamy)
  • 50 gr. hard cheese)
  • 2 tablespoon oatmeal (bran, optional)
  • 3 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (table)
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin (ground)
  • pepper to taste (ground)
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Rinse the rice and boil it in salted water until tender; if desired, you can add Vegeta seasoning from dried vegetables or another to taste. We put the finished rice in a colander and after 5 minutes put it on the bottom of the form.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into inflorescences, boil until cooked and cool. Cut the finished cauliflower into pieces.
  3. Add chopped parsley (1 tablespoon), cumin, salt (1 teaspoon), ground pepper, and the oat bran to the finished pork mince (can be replaced with wheat flour).
  4. Mix well the aromatic minced meat.
  5. We form meatballs (10-11 pcs.) From the prepared minced pork and put in hot oil.
  6. Fry meatballs on 2 sides until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, cream, leftover parsley, ground pepper, mustard, and a little salt.
  8. Pour the cream sauce into the meatballs.
  9. Simmer the meatballs until the aromatic creamy sauce thickens.
  10. Put pieces of cauliflower on the prepared rice, and meatballs in a creamy sauce on the cabbage.
  11. Sprinkle the meatballs with grated cheese and send the casserole to the oven at 210 degrees.
  12. We bake fragrant meatballs with cauliflower and rice until the cheese is melted and covered with a brown crust. We serve a delicious dish hot with your favorite salad.
