Ingredients
Corn flour – 25 g (1 tablespoon with a small slide)
Flour / s – 450 g (3 cups with a capacity of 250 ml)
We start the usual yeast dough in warm water. First, we activate the yeast (quick brew). Add corn flour to ordinary wheat flour. We mix. If there is no corn flour, that’s okay, we use only wheat flour. We make a depression in the center of the flour, add warm water there.
Pour in sugar and chop the yeast. Mix a little. We leave in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
Add salt and vegetable oil. We knead the dough.
We knead the dough for several minutes – it turns out to be quite soft and non-sticky.
We give the dough a good rise – we place it in a plate, cover it with foil and leave it in a warm place without drafts, in time – about an hour.
We dust the table with flour – at this stage the dough may stick a little. Knead the dough, put it on the table and roll it into a rectangle (35×15 cm). Cover with foil – let the dough rest. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
At this time, we prepare the sprinkling (filling). In a small amount of finely grated cheese, add dry garlic and salt.
We also add a mixture of Italian herbs to this. Mix everything well.
Cut the dough layer into strips 2-3 cm wide. Stretch the strips a little (to the width of the baking sheet) and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Grease each stick with vegetable oil.
Sprinkle the cooked cheese-garlic mixture on the sticks.
Before baking, let the sticks rise a little under the film, 15 minutes. We bake the cheese and garlic bread sticks in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees, for 10-15 minutes. Focus on your oven – the sticks should turn golden.
Cheese-garlic bread sticks are ready. Bon Appetit!
