Very, very juicy and tender zucchini sticks, baked with cheese and spices, in a matter of minutes. Serve with light sour cream sauce. It will appeal to both adults and children.
We wash the zucchini (if the zucchini is large, then peel and remove the seeds), cut into small cubes.
Add turmeric, a little pepper, dried herbs, garlic and sour cream squeezed through a press to the zucchini. We mix. When the zucchini have stood a little, salt and stir.
Mix the breadcrumbs with grated cheese.
Roll each piece of zucchini in a dry mixture. Place the zucchini on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. We bake in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees until the zucchini is cooked, about 20-25 minutes.
Cooking the sauce. Peel the cucumber, rub it on the finest grater. Add sour cream, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, lime or lemon juice to the cup to the grated cucumber. Mix well with a whisk until smooth.
The inside of the zucchini sticks are soft and juicy, and the outside is crispy and aromatic!
