Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 100 g butter
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 170 g flour
  • 70 g almond (s), round
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g yourt

For covering:

  • 500 g cherry (s), pitted
  • 350 ml cherry juice
  • 1 packet custard

For the cast:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and then fold in the ground nuts. Mix everything together with the yoghurt to a smooth dough.
  2. Line a 26 mm round baking sheet with parchment paper. Press the dough evenly onto the baking tray with moistened hands, forming a slight edge.
  3. Bring the custard powder with the juice to the boil. Then add the cherries to the juice and spread them over the dough. Bake in an oven preheated to 190 ° C top / bottom heat for about 35 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the egg yolk, crème fraîche and sugar and then carefully fold in the whipped egg white. Now place this topping on the cherries and bake for about 15 minutes at 175 ° C.
