Cherry Clafoutis Recipe

  • 700 g pitted cherries
  • 600 ml milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 240 g sugar
  • 260 g flour
  • 1 tbsp starch
  • 20 g butter


  • Beat eggs with sugar until smooth. Add flour in portions so that no lumps form. Pour in milk gradually. The dough should be liquid and smooth.
  • Wash the cherries, dry them, remove the seeds. Grease a baking dish with butter. Arrange the cherries in an even layer. Sprinkle with starch on top.
  • Pour out the dough. Put the dessert in an oven preheated to 210 degrees. Bake for 35-40 minutes. After baking, allow to cool completely in the mold.
