Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° and grease a springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm.
  2. Drain the pears. Beat the eggs with 100 g sugar and the quark until frothy, stir in the flour and pour the dough into the greased pan. Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon. Cut the drained pears into slices, place on the dough and sprinkle with the chopped almonds and the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  3. Bake the clafoutis at 180 ° on the middle rack for 40-45 minutes.
  4. The dough does not rise when baking and stays flat because no baking powder is used.
  5. Also tastes good with cherries, apples, apricots and blueberries, whether fresh, frozen or canned.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
