Ingredients

  • 750 g cherry (s) or any berry fruit
  • 120 g suar
  • 6 large egg (s)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 grams flour
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Butter and flour for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Wash the fruits and remove the seeds if necessary (frozen fruits are also ok). Mix 90 g sugar with a pinch of salt, add the eggs and beat until the mixture turns whitish. Slowly add the milk, keep beating. Add the sieved flour and mix until a liquid and homogeneous dough is formed. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C top / bottom heat. Butter a baking dish and dust with flour. Spread the fruit in the pan. Pour the batter on top and bake the casserole for 35 minutes. After the baking time let it cool down, sprinkle with the remaining sugar and enjoy!
  3. If you like, you can also add some rum to the batter. It tastes particularly good with vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce.
