Ingredients

  • 250 ml milk
  • 40 g butter
  • 125 g breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) vanilla pod (s)
  • 1 tablespoon orange peel, grated
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg, grated
  • 120 g dried fruit, your choice
  • 30 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. Grease and crumble the indentations of a muffin tin or silicone mold.
  2. Boil the milk with the butter. Stir in the grated pastries and continue cooking until the mixture loosens from the edge of the pan.
  3. Heat the oven to 180 ° C.
  4. Beat egg whites with salt to make stiff snow. Now mix the sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, orange peel and the cut fruit into the crumbs. If the mixture is too dry, stir in a little more milk. Lift the snow under the fruit mixture and pour the mixture, sprinkled with flaked almonds, into the baking pan that you place on the middle rail of the oven.
  5. After 30 minutes, check the degree of doneness with a wooden stick. Serve the casseroles warm or cold.
  6. Delicious with rum butter or fruit pulp or vanilla sauce.
