Ingredients

  • 150 g red currants
  • 2 large egg (s)
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 50 grams flour
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar, bourbon
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon, (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon kirsch
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • possibly milk
  • some powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Clean the currants and fill them into a pie form (ceramic or glass) with a diameter of 26 cm.
  2. Beat the eggs with sugar until foamy, stir in the flour, spices and crème fraîche. If the dough is too firm, add a few drops of milk. Pour the mixture over the currants.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 35 minutes. Dust with icing sugar and serve hot immediately.
  4. Vanilla ice cream or sauce goes well with it.
