Chicken Aspic with Melted Cheese and Horseradish

Chicken aspic with melted cheese and horseradish – an unusual, but very tasty improvisation on the theme of jellied meat. Guests will be delighted with such an interesting snack. The dish turns out to be very tender and aromatic.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs – 2 pcs.
  • Chicken drumsticks – 3 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Processed cheese – 200 g
  • Mayonnaise – 4-5 tbsp
  • Grated table horseradish – 2 tbsp
  • Instant gelatin – 20 g
  • Lemon – ½ pc.
  • Fresh dill – 3-5 branches
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Black peppercorns – 5 pcs.
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs.

Directions

  1. We prepare products for the preparation of chicken jellied with cream cheese and horseradish.
  2. We wash the chicken meat, put it in a saucepan and fill it with water (2-2.5 l). Bring to a boil.
  3. Peel the onions and carrots.
  4. Remove the foam with a slotted spoon. Put onions, carrots, salt and peppercorns in a saucepan. Cook for 50 minutes.
  5. Add bay leaves and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Take out the meat and carrots. Strain the broth (for pouring you need 1 liter of broth). Leave to cool.
  7. Pour gelatin into 250-300 ml of broth, mix. We leave for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Add mayonnaise and horseradish to the rest of the broth. We mix.
  9. Heat the broth with gelatin, stirring constantly, so that all the gelatin crystals dissolve. Do not bring to a boil.
  10. Pour in the broth with gelatin to the rest of the broth. We mix.
  11. Squeeze lemon juice into broth. Salt and mix. The fill is ready.
  12. Free the chicken meat from bones and skin and chop it arbitrarily.
  13. Finely chop the garlic.
  14. Chop the dill with a knife.
  15. Cut out stars or other figures from carrots.
  16. Put the meat on the bottom of the plates.
  17. Sprinkle with chopped garlic.
  18. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater. We spread it on the meat.
  19. Fill with the resulting fill.
  20. We decorate the jellied with carrot stars and dill. We send it to the refrigerator for several hours to solidify.
  21. Chicken aspic with melted cheese and horseradish, ready.
