Croutons with Melted Cheese and Egg

Simple croutons will be transformed in a matter of minutes if you brush them with soft melted cheese and cover them with boiled egg slices. • White bread (loaf) – 2 slices
• Egg – 1 pc.
• Processed cheese (soft) – 1.5 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Ground black pepper – to taste

Instructions

1. Boil the egg hard-boiled (within 10 minutes after boiling), then cover with cold water and cool. Peel the egg and cut it into slices. (If you boil the egg in advance, it will take even less time to cook the croutons.)
2. Fry slices of bread in a dry frying pan until golden brown on both sides (adjust the degree of browning to your liking).
3. Transfer the croutons from the skillet to a plate.
4. Brush each crouton with spreadable cream cheese.
5. Place egg slices on top of each crouton.
6. Now sprinkle the cream cheese and egg croutons with salt and black pepper.
