Chicken in a Jar

The easiest way to cook tender chicken is in a jar. The recipe is extremely simple – I disassembled it, put it in a jar and sent it to the oven. And how delicious!

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 pc. (1.5-2 kg)
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Black peppercorns – 10 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices for chicken – 0.5-1 teaspoon.
  • Garlic optional

Directions

  1. Divide the chicken into pieces. Wash. Add peppercorns and bay leaves. Add your favorite chicken spices if desired. I have curry.
  2. Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Salt to taste. Mix everything. Load the chicken into the jar a maximum of 3/4 full. Choose a jar by the amount of chicken. Add butter. You can add a couple of garlic cloves if desired.
  3. Close the neck of the jar with foil, pressing it tightly, and send it to a COLD oven for 70-80 minutes (depending on the amount of meat and the quality of the oven) at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. Remove the finished chicken from the jar. The chicken will turn out in its own juice, which can serve as an excellent sauce, for example, to boiled potatoes or porridge.
