Chicken Strudel with Young Cheese

Filo recipe, delicious and original. Whether for guests or for every day. Everyone liked it, and I took note of it as a festive dish. I am sure that whoever repeats it will be very pleased.

Ingredients

  • Filo dough – 10 sheets
  • Chicken fillet (breast) – 250 g
  • Red bell pepper (sweet) – 1 pc.
  • Flat peas, fresh (optional) – 200 g
  • Young cheese – 80 g
  • Sour cream – 60 g
  • Bulb onion, large – 1 pc.
  • Curry – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Butter – 90 g
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetable broth – 250 g
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon.
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon

Directions

  1. Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and lay out: onion (cut into strips), garlic (squeeze out), breast (cut into small strips). Fry everything for 3 minutes. Sprinkle with curry, add broth and simmer for 4 minutes.
  2. Add fresh cheese and sour cream, salt. If only adults are going to eat, then you can pepper. Wash the paprika, remove the seeds and white membranes, cut into 3 or 4 parts (according to its shape), and then into slices. Cut the peas in half (if used).
  3. Spread the filo layer and grease with butter. Cover with the next sheet and brush with oil as well. And so on until the end. Leave some oil to lubricate the top of the strudel. Place the meat on the edge of the sheets, distribute the peppers and peas (if used) evenly.
  4. Roll up with strudel (or rolls).
  5. Pinch the edges so that the juice does not leak.
  6. Put on a baking sheet. Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  7. Not just tasty, but VERY tasty !!! The children ate with great pleasure.
