Instructions
Beat the egg with sugar. Pour in kefir and mix. Pour in cocoa. Stir until smooth. Gradually add sifted flour mixed with baking powder. Pour in vegetable oil. Stir well to get a homogeneous dough for kefir muffins.
Fill muffin tins 2/3 full with dough. Put in an oven heated to 180 degrees and bake chocolate muffins on kefir for 25-30 minutes. Check the readiness of the muffins with a wooden skewer (it must be dry). Transfer the finished chocolate muffins to a wire rack and cool.
Make a depression in the center of each cake (using a teaspoon or apple peeler).
Crumble the removed parts. Chop the walnuts with a knife. Mix nuts with crumbs. Add jam Maheev “Cherry”. Stir the muffin filling. Fill the grooves in the muffins with the nut filling with cherry jam.
Melt butter, add sugar and sour cream, put on low heat. Without removing from heat, add cocoa, mix. While stirring constantly, bring the glaze to a boil, but do not boil. The finished chocolate coating will become uniform, smooth, and shiny. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Dip the muffins with warm frosting so that it covers the top of the muffins. Decorate muffins with nuts, cherry jam, and chocolate icing with pastry sprinkles. Place the chocolate muffins on a wire rack to set the frosting.
Chocolate muffins with cherry jam and nuts are ready. Bon Appetit!
