Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 350 grams sugar
  • 120 g butter
  • 130 ml milk, warm
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 300 grams flour
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 packs cream stabilizer
  • 100 g speculoos
  • 2 cups sour cream

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the soft butter and milk to the egg and sugar mixture and stir. Mix the flour, cinnamon and baking powder well (approx. 3 minutes with the mixer).
  2. Peel apples and cut into small pieces. Now add these to the dough, stir and distribute everything on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for about 25 minutes at 170 °. Let the cake cool down well.
  3. Finely grind the biscuits for the topping. I always do this with the blender. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff, stir in the sour cream and stir in the ground biscuits. Spread the topping on the well-cooled cake and chill for at least 1 hour.
