Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ clove powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ nutmeg
  • 300 grams flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • Flour, for the work surface

For the cast:

  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 4 lemon juice, possibly less

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and make a kneading dough out of them. The dough should be pliable and not sticky. Put the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough about 0.5 cm thick on a floured work surface and cut out any figures. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake at about 175 ° C for about 12 minutes.
  4. Mix the powdered sugar with enough lemon juice to create a thick glaze. Always start with a little lemon juice so that it doesn`t become too runny.
  5. Make sure to cover the cookies with icing so that they become soft. Let the icing dry well and then store the cookies in well-sealed cans.
