Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 300 grams flour
  • 100 g cane suar
  • 200 g mararine
  • 2 teaspoons tartar baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ vanilla

Also:

  • 0.5 ½ glass jam, (cherry or currant sweetened with apple syrup)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Knead the ingredients for the dough well and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out evenly on a floured work surface and cut out in various shapes. Cut out a shape in two different sizes for each double-decker. Possibly just take different sized glasses to cut out.
  3. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. For the double decker, let the biscuits cool down, then heat the jam in a small saucepan and put a dollop on the large biscuit, place the small biscuit on top and dust with a little icing sugar.
