Mix the butter, sugar and salt until frothy. Knead with the flour and milk (measure as required) to form a smooth and firm dough. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and form six balls from each piece. Place these in a circle on a large, flat plate lined with baking paper. Press the balls flat with a fork or the back of a spoon, making sure there is enough space. Microwave at 450 watts for 3.5-4.5 minutes.
Test after approx. 3 minutes when charging for the first time, because different devices can produce different results even with the same wattage. When the biscuits are done, let them stand for 5 minutes (during this time they will set), then leave to cool on a wire rack. After cooling, the biscuits can be decorated with chocolate or icing and decorations as you like.

Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling.
