Ingredients

  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 egg (s), size L - XL
  • 2 slices toast
  • 6 tablespoon milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • some pepper
  • 150 g Gouda
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread slices into small cubes. Place in a bowl, pour the milk over them and soak for about 2 - 3 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, finely dice the onion and add to the bread. Then add the minced meat, egg, pepper and salt and knead well by hand. Then cut the cheese and ham into small pieces.
  3. Divide the minced meat mixture into 8 equal portions and press them flat. Spread the cheese and ham on top. Fold the edges up to close the meatballs.
  4. Finally, press a little flat and if you like, you can roll the meatballs in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the meatballs in a sufficiently large pan in the oil until golden brown.
