Ingredients

  • 1 point puff pastry, round, 32 cm diameter
  • 500 g zucchini (courette)
  • 400 g cheese (raclette), cut into 5 mm slices
  • 1 onion (s), cut into thin rings
  • 110 g bacon, diced
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top and bottom heat.
  2. Place the puff pastry in a size 28 form and pull up one edge. Pierce with a fork. Cover the bottom completely with raclette cheese. Spread the onion rings on top. Roughly grate the courgettes, season with very light salt and spread over the onions. Scatter the cubes of bacon on top.
  3. Bake the cake in the lower half of the oven for about 20 minutes, then set the temperature back to 200 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes until the dough is nice and brown.
  4. Let the cake cool down a little before slicing.
  5. Salad goes well with it.
