Instructions

  1. Boil the water with 0.5 teaspoons of salt. Stir in the couscous, then remove from the heat and let soak for about 5 minutes. Fluff the couscous with a fork.
  2. Peel, wash and grate the carrot. Knead with couscous, quark and egg and season with salt, pepper, curry and chilli.
  3. Shape the mixture into 11-12 meatballs, depending on the size, and fry them in hot oil.
  4. If you like, you can also add a clove of garlic to the mixture, but that`s a matter of taste.
  5. We had a cucumber salad with it. I can also imagine the patties very well with potatoes, pasta, rice or as a side dish to meat dishes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
