Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 125 g chocolate, chopped
  • 125 g almond (s) or nuts, round
  • 125 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 pack cake icing (chocolate), dark
  • 1 pack cake icing (chocolate), light

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter, sugar and eggs until frothy. Then add the almonds, flour, baking powder and the chocolate chips and stir into the batter.
  2. Then fill the dough in the baking pan and bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes (160 degrees are sufficient for a convection oven).
  3. Possibly after 30 minutes place a piece of aluminum foil on top of the cake (the size of the baking pan), otherwise the cake will turn too brown on top.
  4. After the baking time, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down on a wire rack for about 15 minutes
  5. When the cake has cooled completely, apply the icing: First, melt the white chocolate icing in a water bath. Then evenly coat the top of the cake with this glaze. Do not brush the edge of the cake and let it cool.
  6. In the meantime, melt the brown glaze. Then carefully spread the brown glaze on the cake with the teaspoon and / or the pastry brush so that individual stains appear like on a cow`s hide. Also brush the outer edge with dark chocolate.
