Crab-Nut Snack in Tartlets

Crab sticks with nuts and mayonnaise are a tartlet appetizer that can be served with any drink. The appetizer should be served on the festive table immediately after cooking so that the filling does not soften the tartlets too much.

Cook: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • Tartlets (ready-made) – 20-24 pcs.
  • Crab sticks – 200 g
  • Hazelnuts – 0.5 cups
  • Almonds – 0.5 cups
  • Walnut – 0.5 cups
  • Light mayonnaise (“European” or “Salad”) – 160 g

Directions

  1. Let’s prepare the ingredients.
  2. Each type of nuts is pounded with a pestle in a thick-walled container separately, since they are of different hardness.
  3. The almonds were too hard and had to use a coffee grinder. But it is better that the nuts are moderately crushed, and not into dust.
  4. Cut the crab sticks into quarters lengthwise and finely across.
  5. Pour chopped sticks and crushed nuts into one container.
  6. We fill with mayonnaise.
  7. After mixing, we get a loose sticky mass.
  8. We fill the tartlets with the filling.
  9. We put the appetizer in tartlets on a flat plate, forming a stylized flower.
