Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon nuts, mixed, chopped
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), dried
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 200 g double cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Chop the garlic cloves and crush a little together with the salt.
  2. Lightly brown the chopped nuts in a pan without fat with the roasted, crumbled chilli and mix with the garlic-salt mixture while they have cooled down a little.
  3. Let the sugar caramelize light yellow in the pan. Add the mixture with the nuts and stir in. It has to be done quickly so that the garlic doesn`t burn and become bitter!
  4. Place the contents of the pan on a prepared piece of baking paper and let cool down completely.
  5. Shape the cream cheese into balls (diameter approx. 2 cm) and roll them in the nut-garlic mixture.
  6. Chill until consumption and serve in praline capsules.
  7. The savory brittle mixture is also suitable as a salad topping.
  8. It can be kept in a closed jar for about 10 days.
