Spread some cream in a suitable shape (I always use a small square casserole dish), layer half of the ladyfingers on top, then spread the cream again, then put the second layer of ladyfingers on top and finish with the remaining cream.
Cover and let steep in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours - sprinkle with cocoa or grated chocolate before serving.
