Ingredients

  • 1 cup coffee, strong or 2 espresso
  • 125 g cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon amaretto
  • 250 g ricotta
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 g ladyfiners
  • Cocoa powder or grated dark chocolate for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream with vanilla sugar until stiff. Mix the ricotta with the amaretto and the remaining sugar until creamy and fold in the cream.
  2. Dip the ladyfingers into the coffee with the unsweetened side (it is best to place the coffee in a deep plate).
  3. Spread some cream in a suitable shape (I always use a small square casserole dish), layer half of the ladyfingers on top, then spread the cream again, then put the second layer of ladyfingers on top and finish with the remaining cream.
  4. Cover and let steep in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours - sprinkle with cocoa or grated chocolate before serving.
