Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • 500 g onion (s)
  • 3 bags rice (cooking ), uncooked
  • 6 sausages (Mettenden or raw eater)
  • 1 ½ liter vegetable stock
  • 10 tablespoon oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices (best with a food processor). Peel the onions and cut into rings. Place a thin layer of potato slices in a high baking dish, sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of rice on top and add a small handful of onion rings. Now season with paprika powder, salt and pepper. Spread about a tablespoon of oil over it. Repeat the process until the baking dish is almost full (there should be about 3 fingers` widths of space up to the edge). Place the meatballs or raw eaters on top and grease everything again well with oil. Finally add the vegetable stock so that the sausages are covered with it.
  2. Then bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 90 minutes.
  3. It is best to serve with lettuce and white bread.
