Ingredients
- 300 g quark
- 300 grams flour
- 3 egg (s)
- 100 g suar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
- Fat, for frying

- Beat eggs and sugar until frothy, add quark. Mix in the vanilla sugar, flour and baking powder. Cut out the sparrows with a large teaspoon, which you dip briefly in the hot fat, shape in the palm of your hand with the spoon and bake in floating fat for about 5 minutes.
- Tip: fold 70 g of raisins soaked in rum into the batter.
