Fish “in Greek”

Delicious, aromatic, and, most importantly, a very simple fish dish.

Ingredients

  • Fish (any fillet of white fish, sea or river, I have a pike perch) – 900 g
  • Tomatoes – 600 g
  • Garlic – 2 large cloves (16 g)
  • Mayonnaise (I mixed mayonnaise with sour cream) – 200 g
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) – 1-2 tablespoon.

How to cook fish “in Greek”:

Directions

  1. Prepare the filling for the fish: cut the tomatoes into small cubes, rub the cheese on a coarse grater, garlic on a fine grater or squeeze through a press, add mayonnaise.
  2. We mix.
  3. Cut the fish fillet into pieces, salt, and pepper. Put in a greased dish (26×36 cm) or in a baking sheet.
  4. We spread the tomato filling on the fish. And we put the fish “in Greek” in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees for 20-30 minutes (the baking time depends on the characteristics of your oven).
  5. We take out the ready-made fish “Greek-style” from the oven.
