Fish in Uniform

If you don’t know what to cook, check the refrigerator. There is hidden your new culinary masterpiece – a fish in a uniform. So far, it looks like a fillet of fish, a few potatoes, a couple of bundles of spinach, and a few eggs …

Directions

Rinse the spinach, scald with boiling water. Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool, and peel.
Salt and pepper the fish fillets, add spices to your liking, and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Grate boiled potatoes, add yolks, sour cream, nutmeg, pepper, grated lemon zest. Beat the egg whites and add to the potato mass.
Grease a baking dish with oil and put part (half or a little more) of the potato mass into it.
Wrap the fish (slices or a whole fillet, if small) in spinach leaves and place them on top of the potatoes. On top of the fish in spinach, place the remaining potato mixture. Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake the fish and potatoes in the oven for 35-40 minutes at medium temperature and brown for another 5 minutes, increasing the temperature. Garnish the skimmed fish with lemon, green onions, and herbs.
