- some butter
- 1 large apple, more tart
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon calvados
- 1 dash cream
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- possibly whipped cream, whipped with vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch (s) cinnamon

- Core, peel and slice the apple.
- Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the apple slices a little on one side, then turn and drizzle with the honey. Briefly continue frying.
- In the meantime, heat the calvados in a metal ladle over a warmer. Remove the pan from the oven, ignite the calvados and pour over the apples. As soon as the flames have gone out, remove the apple slices from the pan.
- Put the pan back on the stove and add a dash of cream and caramelize a little.
- Serve the apple slices together with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle the caramelized liquid from the pan over the apples and dust with a pinch of cinnamon if necessary. A small dollop of cream with vanilla sugar is also good.
