Ingredients

  • 260 g flour
  • 100 ml milk, warm
  • 120 g natural yourt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 3 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 40 g butter, melted
  • Coriander or onions, freshly chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix 200 g flour with the salt, sugar, baking powder and yeast, then add the yogurt and mix again. Gradually add the warm milk while kneading and then knead with the rest of the flour until you have a smooth, no longer sticky dough. Cover and let the dough rise for at least 1 hour, then oil your hands a little and knead the dough again briefly.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, pull them apart on a floured surface and flatten them into flat cakes (do not roll out). Spread the chopped garlic and possibly some onions and / or coriander on top.
  3. Brown the bottom of the flatbreads vigorously in a pan (with non-stick coating) without oil and then bake the flatbreads at 200 ° C for 2-5 minutes until the surface is lightly browned. Finally, distribute the butter on the finished naan bread and serve.
