Focaccia Stuffed with Ham and Mushrooms

Mouth-watering focaccia with vegetables, mushrooms, cheese, and ham. Preparing Italian focaccia is not difficult at all!

Ingredients

  • For the test:
  • Fresh yeast – 20 g
  • Water – 200 ml
  • Flour – 500 g
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • For filling:
  • Mashed tomatoes – 5 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella – 125 g
  • Ham – 150 g
  • Mushrooms in oil – 200 g
  • Pickled eggplants in oil – 50 g
  • Oregano
  • Besides:
  • Vegetable oil for lubrication

Directions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add salt and sugar. Add flour. Knead the dough quickly. Leave to rise for at least an hour.
  2. Put half the dough on a baking sheet covered with baking paper greased with vegetable oil. Distribute evenly. Brush with mashed tomatoes. Place sliced ​​mozzarella cheese, sliced ​​ham, mushrooms in oil, and marinated sliced ​​eggplant. Sprinkle with oregano.
  3. Cover with the second half of the dough, pinch the edges. Lubricate with vegetable oil.
  4. Bake the ham and mushroom focaccia at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  5. Focaccia with ham and mushrooms is ready.
