Fried Cauliflower with Breadcrumbs and Cheese

The cauliflower for this recipe is first boiled in salted water and then fried with butter. Serve the fried cauliflower with breadcrumbs and grated cheese and it’s your favorite! The main thing is not to overcook the cabbage.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 1 kg
  • Bread crumbs – 100 g
  • Hard cheese – 50-80 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Salt – 20 g
  • Water – 2 l

Directions

  1. Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and rinse with cold water.
  2. Put a pot of water on the fire, add salt and wait until it boils. Send cauliflower to boiling water and boil in salted water for 7 minutes, no more.
  3. Cool by placing the cabbage in cold water for 3 minutes.
  4. Drain the water. Then you need to lightly dry the cabbage. You can put it in a colander and wait until all the liquid is drained.
  5. Send butter to a preheated frying pan.
  6. Put the cabbage and fry in a skillet with butter. Fry, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. The cabbage should brown.
  7. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Place the fried cauliflower on a platter.
  9. While it is still hot, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated cheese.
  10. Fried cauliflower with breadcrumbs and cheese is ready.
