Balls of Spinach, Cheese and Breadcrumbs (Oven)

An original and unusual appetizer of spinach, cheese and bread crumbs will certainly be appreciated by adults and children. Juicy, tasty, fragrant spinach balls will disappear from the table just instantly.

Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach – 1 bunch (100-150 g)
  • Bulb onions (small) – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • White bread (loaf) – 120 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 40 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Sour cream (for serving) – to taste

Directions

  1. Preparing food. Also in the cooking process, we need parchment paper. We turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  2. Cut the bread into slices.
  3. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. We send the baking sheet to the oven, dry the bread for 5 minutes. Then turn the slices of bread over to the other side and put them in the oven for another 5 minutes. Let it cool.
    Reduce the oven temperature to 175 degrees.
  4. Rinse the spinach thoroughly. Cut off the stems and chop the spinach leaves arbitrarily.
  5. Peel the onion, cut it into cubes.
  6. Peel the garlic, chop finely.
  7. Beat eggs lightly with salt and pepper.
  8. Rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  9. Combine spinach, onion, garlic, eggs, bread crumbs and cheese in a bowl.
  10. We mix.
  11. We form balls from the resulting mass with wet hands and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. We send it to the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  12. Let the prepared spinach balls cool.
  13. Serve balls of spinach, cheese and bread crumbs with sour cream.
