Gazpacho (Сold Tomato Soup)

Today I propose to cook gazpacho tomato soup. This is a Spanish cold soup made from ripe tomatoes with the addition of bell peppers, onions and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Bulgarian pepper – 3 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 1-1.5 kg
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Ciabatta – 3 pieces
  • Wine vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. First you need to bake sweet bell peppers in an oven preheated to 200-220 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes for a few minutes and carefully remove the skin.
  3. Remove the peppers, sprinkle with coarse salt and peel.
  4. Pepper seeds and chop.
  5. Add chopped onions, garlic and bell peppers to the tomatoes.
  6. Beat with a blender.
  7. Add a few pieces of ciabatta or pita bread, wine vinegar, salt and ground black pepper.
  8. Kill the gazpacho again with a blender.
  9. Now it remains to chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, and the cold tomato gazpacho soup is ready.
