Ingredients

  • 125 g puffed rice, unsweetened
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 150 g walnuts
  • 150 g nuts, miscellaneous, and / or almonds, cashews, pistachios, chia seeds, sesame
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 40 g oil
  • 200 g maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Mix the puffed rice, oatmeal, chopped nuts and salt in a bowl. Add the oil and maple syrup and stir everything in well.
  2. Important: The information is weighed in grams and not measured in milliliters!
  3. Spread the muesli on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 45 minutes at 160 ° C top-bottom heat, stirring every 10-15 minutes so that it bakes evenly. The muesli becomes even more crispy when it cools!
  4. Finally, let everything cool down completely on the baking sheet and store in a tin.
  5. Hints and tips: You can choose the nuts as you like, these are just my preferences. The nuts can also be chopped in different sizes as desired.
  6. In contrast to the typical granola, the puffed rice makes it much more airy / poppy, which personally tastes better and reminds me of healthy smacks with nuts.
  7. You can get puffed rice in health food stores, among other places.
