  • 2 cups sweet cream
  • Edam cheese or Gouda

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes and finely chop the garlic. Melt the butter in a pan. First fry the garlic briefly and then add the diced tomatoes. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, butter out a baking dish and put in the Maultaschen. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection).
  2. Now add the cream to the tomatoes. Bring to the boil briefly. Then season with a touch of pepper and the granulated broth (approx. 1 - 2 teaspoons). Better to start with a little less broth, because with too much it no longer tastes good. When finished, pour the sauce over the dumplings and sprinkle with cheese. Put them in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. When the cheese is crispy brown, take it out and enjoy.
  3. I recommend white bread and green or tomato salad with it.
