Ingredients

  • 500 g pork (yros), seasoned with onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 250 g pasta
  • Salt water
  • 1 can tomato (s), chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 125 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • some tomato paste
  • oregano
  • Worcester sauce
  • sugar
  • salt
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Fry the gyros, squeeze in the garlic and fry briefly. Mix the noodles with the fried gyros. Put everything in a baking dish.
  2. Mix the tomatoes, sour cream, feta cheese and tomato paste. Season to taste with oregano, a pinch of sugar, salt and paprika powder. This results in a relatively firm sauce that stays on the casserole. If you want the sauce to seep into the casserole, you have to dilute the sauce with cream, milk or similar.
  3. Then bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 175 ° C.
