Ingredients
- 1 kg meat (gyros), fresh (particularly tasty with poultry)
- 1 small Glass hot peppers
- 2 bell peppers, red and green
- 1 can tomato (s), peeled or pieces, alternatively tomato paste
- 500 g cheese, rated
- 500 g feta cheese
- 20 ml Metaxa

- Fry the meat in the pan. Add the chopped peperoncini and paprika. Let everything stew for about 10 minutes and add the can of tomatoes. Crumble the feta into small pieces and stir in. Now add the Metaxa and stir well.
- Place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Then pour the grated cheese over it and bake for another 15 minutes at about 160 degrees.
- Tzaziki, fresh baguette or French fries and a green salad go well with this, of course.
