Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cumin, up to 1 as needed.
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ marjoram (here also more up to 1 )
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped parsley, (smooth)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, (white)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 2 small cloves garlic, (pressed)
  • 1 small lemon (s), (juiced)
  • 2 large onions, (grated)
  • 1 onion (s), for frying

Instructions

  1. This marinade is suitable for 500 g of meat cut into thin strips (e.g. schnitzel, turkey etc.)
  2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then cut into thin strips e.g., Put the schnitzel in a bowl, then spread the marinade over it and put it in the fridge overnight!
  3. The marinade can be seasoned according to taste (also just before frying)!
  4. The next day, cut the marinated meat with a onion, sear it until crispy and serve with rice noodles and tzatziki or, if necessary, process it further, such as. B. in my recipe Gyros gratin!
