Ingredients

  • 1 kg meat (gyros), seasoned, fresh or frozen
  • 1 bottle sauce (cocktail sauce)
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 package cheese pens

Instructions

  1. First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Fry the gyros in the pan without fat. Mix the cocktail sauce with the cream. When the gyros is well seared, it shouldn`t be too crispy, transfer it to a baking dish. Cover with the cocktail and cream sauce and place in the oven for approx. 15 minutes.
  2. After the 15 minutes, sprinkle the cheese over it and set the temperature to 170 degrees. When the cheese has melted nicely, the casserole is usually ready after another 15 minutes. If you want the casserole crispy, leave it in the oven a little longer, of course. We always eat french fries or croquettes and a mixed salad.
