Ingredients

  • 2 red pepper (s)
  • 150 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 700 g pork strips with yros spice
  • 2 tablespoon Metaxa
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 200 g Gouda cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 175 ° C).
  2. Cut the peppers into thin strips, clean and wash the mushrooms. Halve or quarter large ones if necessary.
  3. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the peppers and mushrooms in it for approx. 3 minutes and remove. Fry the meat in portions in the frying fat for 5 - 6 minutes. Return all of the meat, peppers, and mushrooms to the pan. Add metaxa and tomato paste and bring to the boil. Stir in the sour cream. Put the gyros in a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Baked in a hot oven for approx. 10 minutes until golden yellow.
