Ingredients

  • 400 g white cabbae
  • 1 large carrot (s)
  • 50 ml vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 80 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Cut the white cabbage into fine strips, peel and grate the carrot.
  2. Bring the vinegar, sugar, mustard powder and salt to the boil and stir in the flour. Fold in the cream and butter and remove from the heat. Stir in the egg, stirring until the mixture thickens. Then mix with white cabbage and carrot. Let it steep for at least 3 hours!
