Ingredients
- g 1,000 rabbit (s), (little rabbit)
- 50 g bacon, mixed and diced
- 1 onion (s), cut into rings
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon, heaped pepper
- thyme
- marjoram
- 500 ml meat stock
- 2 lemon (s), the juice it, OR:
- 125 ml red wine
- Pinch sugar

- Briefly wash the rabbit, pat dry with kitchen paper, cut everything into pieces of the same size and fry together with the bacon and onion. Sprinkle some flour over the rabbit, salt, add spices and pour the broth on top.
- Cover and braise for about 1 1/2 hours. Finally, season the sauce with lemon juice (or red wine) and sugar.
- Serve with potato dumplings or mashed potatoes.
