Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 125 ml milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 4 tablespoon herbs (parsley, chives, dill, basil), finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites into firm snow. Beat the softened butter until foamy. Stir in egg yolks, milk, salt, nutmeg and herbs. Fold in the flour and baking powder with the snow.
  2. Line a muffin tin with 8 muffin molds, pour in the mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Suitable as a soup, e.g. in a chicken, beef or vegetable soup.
